Samsung Galaxy S5 Review (VIDEO)
Samsung has finally revealed its new smartphone. The phone is Samsung Galaxy S5. The phone got huge attention from the people all around the world before its release. Galaxy S5 is available in charcoal black, shimmery wite, electric blue and copper gold colors. It has a dust and water resistant body design. Samsung Galaxy S5 has a increased screen size and made it to 5.1 inches(13cms) aswell. Originally it used to be 4 inches(10.2 cms) on the S generation since 2010.
To talk about camera, it has 16 mega pixel camera with world’s fastes autofocus speed of 0.3 seconds.
It supports fifth generation Wi-Fi 802.11ac and 2X2 MIMO.
It also have a fingerprint sensor. The use of fingerprint senser is diversified and can also be used while making payments through PayPal. This feature was just introduced by iPhone 5S recently.
S5 also is featured with heart-rate sensor which can be used measure and analysis the fitness level of the body, before and after exercise. Galaxy S5 will go on sale from April 11, although the price is not revelaed yet. Samsung’s Galaxy S series has been the strong competitor for Apple’s iPhones. Last year Samsung’s Samrtphones defeated Apple’s iPhones in market share with Samsung having 31% and Apple having 16%.
Gartner a chief complaint about Samsung phones said that, "Samsung is betting big on wellness, fingerprint reading and camera autofocus, while keeping a very similar look and feel for its hardware and software," said Nick Dillon, a senior analyst at the research firm Ovum. "The updates are so minor that on first glance most consumers would be hard pressed to notice that it has changed from the previous version."
